The Saskatoon Police Service says their officers were called out to a sudden death this morning near one of the city’s high schools.

Officers responded around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning to a parking lot near Bedford Road Collegiate after receiving a report of a deceased person. Police say they do not believe the death is suspicious in nature and there is no risk to students, staff or members of the public.

The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is conducting the investigation into the death.
