Nutrien has signed a deal worth almost half a billion dollars to acquire Ruralco Holdings.

This will be an addition to the potash and fertilizer giants Landmark subsidiary in Australia. Ruralco provides a wide range of services for Australian farmers and the binding agreement is worth 442 million dollars.

Nutrien President and CEO Chuck Magro says the combination of their Landmark operations with Ruralco in Australia is expected to provide significant benefits for both Ruralco and Nutrien shareholders.
