Lloydminster RCMP and the Explosive Disposal Unit out of Edmonton have located chemicals used in making explosives. On April 2nd, they received information about the possibility that explosives were being stored at a commercial storage facility on the 64 hundred block of 66th Street in Lloydminster. Officer searched the facility and discovered the chemicals. A search of a residence found more chemicals. A 16 year old boy has been charged with making an explosive substance. The Youth Criminal Justice Act protects the accused from being publicly identified.
