Alice in Funderland, that’s the theme of this year’s event in support of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital put on by Care For Kids by Wiegers, the charity arm of Wiegers Financial and Benefits. Deb Wiegers, Co-President of Weigers Financial says the event happening on June 1st at Prairieland Park will be full of entertainment, prizes and food.

Entertainment this year includes comedian Kelly Taylor and a dance with music from artist Topher Mils. The biennial event has raised $860 thousand dollars for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital over the last 6 years and their goal this year is to raise $450 thousand.

Wiegers says as a mother of 4 and working with business owners and their families, they see the need all the time for the children’s hospital, that’s why it’s important to he that they help raise money for the hospital that’s set to open up in the fall.
