The business-to-business show is designed specifically for farmers, qualified international buyers, equipment manufacturers and various industry suppliers.
There are 22 new innovations and product launches to check out over the three day show, which runs Wednesday through Friday at Evraz Place in Regina.
“It seems that spraying crops is a hot topic this year,” says Shirley Janeczko, show manager. “We have a couple of very state-of-the-art techniques. One is a very disruptive drone and another is a steam sprayer with no chemicals involved.”
Canada’s Farm Progress Show also features seeding, tillage, harvest and livestock equipment.
More than 500 international visitors from dozens of countries are registered, some who have been to the Regina show previously.
“They like how we do business and they like our equipment and machinery,” says Janeczko. “They want to take that Canadian knowledge back to their country.”

The Saskatchewan Outstanding Young Farmers Award will be presented on Thursday. Biographies of the three nominees are located here.
