The Chair of the Hospital Home Lottery campaign says even though prizes are extraordinary, the real winners will be Royal University, St. Paul’s and Saskatoon City Hospitals as well at their patients.
Arla Gustafson announced the launch of the campaign from the 1.3 million dollar grand prize Saskatoon show home on Greenbryre Avenue.
The furnished 33-hundred square foot custom-built multi-level home is professionally decorated, landscaped and comes with 50-thousand dollars cash.
Early Bird prizes include a 700-thousand dollar Candle Lake prize package. In addition to a cottage overlooking the fourth hole at the Golf Resort there is a pontoon boat, marina slip, golf memberships and 5-thousand dollars cash.
Gustafson says the launch of a new campaign is a reminder of past successes and improvements to health care across the city.
She enjoys meeting ticket purchases and prize winners saying motivation for raising money toward projects at the three hospitals is unanimous among purchasers and organizers.
This campaign will go toward the 5-million dollar trauma legacy fund at RUH, St. Paul’s construction of the city’s first free-standing hospice and the purchase of an automated medication dispensing system at City Hospital.
