Manitoba RCMP say a suspect wanted in connection to a house fire was seen walking down the highway and appeared to be burning items and throwing them on the road.

Two of the four people who were in the house on the Peguis First Nation last Friday were treated on scene and two were taken to hospital.

22 year old Danton Flett of Peguis First Nation was charged with Arson-Disregard for Human Life and Arson-Damage to Property.

The two victims in hospital have been released. The house continued to burn and is quite literally a complete loss.

Peguis First Nation is 180 kilometres north of Winnipeg
