The Mennonite Central Committee Saskatchewan unveiled a new treaty land acknowledgment Friday.

The ceremony was followed by a potluck feast including traditional Indigenous and Mennonite foods.
MCC stated the intent to honour and respect Treaty 6, acknowledging that as settlers they have inherited and perpetuated a heritage of injustice and state the resolve to join Indigenous neighbours in their pursuit of peace and justice.
