After a Saskatoon nurse sounded the alarm about several vehicles belonging to staff at St. Paul’s Hospital being broken into, the Saskatchewan Health Authority has announced that it is temporarily suspending parking fees for all patients, employees and physicians at all its facilities.
The SHA says they want to help support those focused on delivering care and services.
For those visiting SHA facilities for compassionate reasons, parking fees will also be waived. Compassionate reasons can include immediate family during end-of-life care.
Visitors however are not permitted in any Saskatchewan Health Authority operated hospitals, clinics, community or continuing care facilities.
