The Prince Albert Visitor Centre is going to remain closed for the duration of 2020.
The City says the COVID-19 pandemic has had a widespread impact on tourism, organizations and events related to tourism and communities.
Due to the uncertainty of a tourism season this year, the Prince Albert Regional Economic Development Alliance has decided to keep the visitors centre closed for the year.
CEO of the Alliance, Ashley Charles, says that although the building is closed to the public, the organization is still working remotely and is working on directing resources to marketing activities that will help the Prince Albert tourism recover.
