Approximately $30,000 damage was done to a garage after a fire on Saturday night.

At approximately 8:13 p.m. the Saskatoon Fire Department received a 911 call reporting a detached garage on fire near a home in the 200 block of Avenue G South.

Arriving on scene in about two minutes, fire crews located a garage on fire and producing a significant amount of black smoke.  The fire, which had extended to a neighbouring fence, was quickly brought under control in an hour. No one was inside the garage and no injuries were reported.

The fire investigator has confirmed this fire to be incendiary.
