Four teams not named the Saskatoon Blades will start practicing this week as the ice is in at SaskTel Centre.

Both U of S teams, the Saskatoon Contacts and the Saskatoon Stars Under-18 Triple-A squads are forced to leave Merlis Belsher Place which has been converted to an emergency field hospital for COVID-19 patient overflow by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. In addition, the SaskTel Centre men’s league will start up later this month. However, there are no games scheduled for the Huskies, Contacts, Stars…or even the Blades…as the provincial government has yet to give the okay for that.
