COVID-19 has caused financial hardships for many people, and organizers expect it will have an impact on the amount of donations for the Kinsmen and Kinettes Telemiracle, coming up February 27th and 28th.
Telemiracle Board Chair Brian Angstadt says they are seeing more requests for help than ever before, but he believes Saskatchewan people are known for rallying to help in tough times and he expects that will continue.
Along with fundraisers around the province which have already begun, Angstadt suggests not waiting to make a donation during the 20 hour event and instead donate online anytime through their website.
There will be a phone bank at Prairieland Park during the show, but it will be a smaller one.
Other changes include having all of the performances, presentations and testimonials taped.
The national cast will be live, following all pandemic safety protocols, but there will be no audience.
