Last Friday, RCMP were told a vehicle carrying a large quantity of alcohol passed through the Moose Island checkpoint and was heading to Wollaston Lake. Officers stopped the vehicle and say the booze was in plain sight. Two of the three occupants are charged with Bootlegging.  Police say, taking this much alcohol off the streets results in about 50 per cent fewer people arrested and held for alcohol-related incidents.
