The Prairie Junior Hockey League’s 2020-2021 season is the latest casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the announcement from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League on Monday, that it would not be allowed to return to play, the PJHL released a statement to media Friday evening.
“With the current Sask Health restrictions in place the PJHL will be unable to return to play and therefore the remainder of the 2020-2021 season has been cancelled. The league would like to thank the players, officials, fans, communities, and sponsors for their commitment and support of the PJHL during these times.”
