RCMP report that Derek Moate has been located safe and sound.

Around nine o’clock last Sunday night, Green Lake RCMP received a complaint of a missing person. 33-year-old Derek Moate was last seen on a back road between Green Lake and Sled Lake. It was reported he may have received a ride to the Pinehouse Junction, but that has not been confirmed. He may also be in the communities of Ile a la Crosse, or Canoe Lake/Jan’s Bay.
He was last seen wearing black pants and a white shirt.

RCMP want to confirm Derek’s well-being. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, they are encouraged to contact Green Lake RCMP, or Ile a la Crosse RCMP.
