A 55-year-old man is facing 18 charges relating to six robberies.

The Saskatoon Police Service says officers, between October 17 to 26, responded to a half dozen robberies which involved a weapon: twice at gas station convenience stores in the 2700 block of Faithful Avenue as well as the 400 block of Circle Drive East, the 1900 block of McKercher Drive, the 3300 block of 8th Street East and the 3900 block of 8th Street East.

Police say in each of the robberies, the suspect brandished a knife, but no one was injured.

A suspect was identified and an arrest was made last Wednesday. The accused is facing six counts each of Armed Robbery, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of Stolen Property.
