Saskatoon Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team seized 415 grams of fentanyl in a Wednesday afternoon drug bust in the City Park neighborhood.
Following a week-long investigation, a 25 year old woman was taken into custody near a business located in the 1200 block of 7th Avenue North. A search warrant of nearby residences found 391 grams of fentanyl in bulk form. Officers say the drug was hidden inside a teddy bear, within a Canada Post package.
A number of other items were also discovered including 10 grams of methamphetamine, 25 grams of packaged fentanyl, 30 suspected ecstasy pills, three BB hand guns and ammunition.
The 25 year old woman is facing a variety of drug and weapons related charges.
