A family favorite returns this weekend at the Western Development Museum.
The Saskatoon Farm Toy and Collectable Show will attract 26 exhibitors with farm toys and scenes, construction equipment, vintage toys, die-cast models and more.
The event has come full circle, after spending the past few years at the former German Cultural Centre.
“It feels like we are coming home at the Western Development Museum,” said Neil Isley, one of the exhibitors. “We are glad to be back.”
Isley has many great memories of past shows.
“I always like when grandpa is with the grandson and they see a tractor that sparks a memory that they can share. That memory may not have been shared without seeing the toy tractor that represents the real one,” he said.
Many of the exhibitors are local with some coming from as far away as Red Deer, Edmonton and Brandon.
Show hours are 5pm to 9pm on Friday, 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Admission is $5 for adults and only two dollars for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
