Two late withdrawals has shortened Curl Sask’s Last Chance event to qualify for next month’s SaskTel Men’s Tankard Championship from four days to three.
A 21-team draw, with match-ups set for 10 a.m. Thursday morning and 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, was taken down from the Curl Sask website. The replacement draw is now up for the bonspiel at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon. The Last Chance event will have three draws each on Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m. Assuming there are no more withdrawals, the 19 teams will take part in a modified triple-knockout with four teams advancing to the SaskTel Tankard, February 9th through 13th in Whitewood.
