A generous bequest of $450,000 to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation will transform the future of specialized care for moms-to-be and children in every corner of the province. That, from CEO Brynn Boback-Lane, recognizing Donna and Steve Kraus, who included the Foundation in their estate planning.
Donna and Steve lived in Vancouver and then came back to Saskatchewan to be closer to family when they retired. Nephew of the couple, Sheldon Kraus, says, “Auntie Donna couldn’t have children of her own, but she and Uncle Steve cared for family and they had a vision to help the future families of Saskatchewan. Boback-Lane says, “A legacy gift for Saskatchewan children can change lives today.”
