Scott Moe, Premier of Saskatchewan, is on the list of the latest round of people to be added to Russia’s “stop list”. Alberta’s premier Jason Kenney is also on the list.
Sixty-one Canadians were added to the list which included premiers, mayors, senior intelligence, military officials and some Canadian journalists.
Being on the “stop list” means they are banned from entering Russia indefinitely.
The Russian Foreign Ministry accuses all 61 individuals of being “involved in the development, substantiation and implementation of the Russophobic course of the ruling regime in Canada,”
The names were added to the list in the same week that the Canadian government announced another round of new sanctions targeting Russia which included Vladimir Putin’s daughters.
