The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a fire involving an attached garage in the 1100 block of Hargreaves Way in the city’s Hampton Village neighbourhood around 3:30 Friday afternoon.

The first arriving crews reported seeing smoke from the garage. Natural gas and electrical service were shut off for safety reasons.

The fire was quickly brought under control according to a news release.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The scene will be turned over the fire investigator.
