Saskatoon-based Vendasta has officially moved into their new office located in the Saskatoon Square tower.
Plans were announced a few years back that the technology-marketing company would be moving into the square. The move started in 2019, although it was delayed due to the pandemic.
Now after hosting an official opening on Friday, Vendasta now calls floors 12 through 17 home.
CEO Brendan King says after recently acquiring two companies and surpassing the 700 employees mark along with moving into their new headquarters, things are going very well for the 14-year-old company.
“Yeah, things are doing pretty good for us. It’s thanks to the small businesses of the world. Those are the people who we really depend on and help us and that’s who we’re building technology for.”
King says the delayed move helped the company but at the same time is also hurt them.
“Obviously we’d like to be in the space as quickly as we could but because of COVID we couldn’t get into the space but what it did do since nobody could work at the office was it gave us more time to get the space ready and get in here so it made so it wasn’t quite so rushed.”
The Saskatoon Square building will soon be renamed the Vendasta building once signage is approved and installed.
