Dignitaries and residents in Yorkton celebrated the grand opening of a YAIL Harbor group home last week. YAIL Harbor is a community-based organization that has been providing person-centered supports to people with intellectual disabilities since 1973.
The new group home supports the provincial government’s Saskatchewan Disability Strategy by creating more residential services for people with intellectual disabilities. The Ministry of Social Services will provide more than $433,000 dollars in annual operational funding for the home.
