Western Canada’s Outdoor Farm Expo is back following a three year absence due to COVID-19.
Ag in Motion continued online in 2020 and 2021—-but organizers are excited about the return of the in-person event that attracted 30,000 people for the three day show in 2019.
“Something we’ve all been looking forward to is seeing each other in person once again,” said Rob O’Connor, Ag in Motion show director. “There is no better way to inform on-farm decisions than being in the field—seeing products and equipment and in the environment they are made for.”
Ag in Motion will have more than 500 exhibitors and 100 acres to explore from Tuesday, July 19 through Thursday, July 21. Highlights include:
Equipment Demonstrations: live demos of air seeders and tillage equipment, a test-drive sprayer area, and viewing different types of autonomous equipment.
Crop Plots: farmers can see the newest seed varieties, fertilizers, plant health and crop production products from 33 companies side-by-side.
BMO Livestock Central: more than 60 companies showcase livestock-related products and services. Stock dog and livestock handling demonstrations, beef breed displays and water purification.
Speaker Series: experts in the field share stories, practical guidance and their best tips on new products and technologies.
Special Events: Field of STARS, AgTech Breakfast, Cultivating Connections Happy Hour and VIP Dairy Producers Brunch.
Ag in Motion is held near Langham, about 20 minutes northwest of Saskatoon on Highway 16. More show details can be found here.
