The charges were laid in connection with an incident early Monday morning, just north of Saskatoon.
Warman RCMP were called to the intersection of Penner Road and Rural Road 3050 around 6am Monday.
40-year-old James Swift of Saskatoon was found dead on the scene, while a woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Two men—28-year old Anthony Burley and 29-year old Colton Lischka—were arrested late Monday afternoon in the Evergreen neighborhood in northeast Saskatoon. An arrest warrant was also issued for 28-year-old Ashtin Ritzand from Saskatoon, who turned himself in without incident at the Saskatoon RCMP detachment around 3 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon.
Burley, Lischka and Ritzand are each facing one count of second degree murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of robbery. Burley and Lischka are also charged with flight from peace officers.
Burley and Lischka will make their first court appearances on Wednesday while Ritzand will be in court on Thursday.
