If and when Benjamin Martin Moore is returned to Canada, he will face a second charge from Saskatchewan R-C-M-P. Moore was charged on August 26th with one count of breach of a Weapons Prohibition Order, 15 days after Shaunavon R-C-M-P and the Saskatchewan R-C-M-P General Investigation Section executed a search warrant at his residence, locating and seizing three cross-bows as well as multiple arrows and arrowheads. Moore was first charged on August 9th by Saskatchewan R-C-M-P with failing to report information to a registration centre within seven days after a change of main or secondary residence, as required by the Sex Offender Information Registration Act. Moore and his common-law partner are currently in custody in the U-S after the two fled Canada with two children. When they were located in South Dakota, an Amber Alert was cancelled after it had been issued with authorities concerned for the safety and well-being of the children. Saskatchewan R-C-M-P say the children are safe and are receiving proper supports.
