Electric vehicles, e-bikes, e-scooters and food trucks will all be on display and ready for Saskatonians to come and check them out this Sunday.
Over 40 EVs will be on hand across the street from TCU Place for the second annual Charged Up Saskatoon Electric Vehicle expo.
The Chief Executive Officer at TCU Place, Tammy Sweeney says there will be a Ford F-150 Lightning at the expo which will be proving a little bit of electricity to the event.
“We have a stage that’s actually powered by a Ford F-150 Lighting which we’re super excited about. So that Ford F-150 is actually going to provide the electricity to run the sound equipment and the TV on the stage.”
Sweeney says most of the EVs on display will be owners from Saskatoon with some coming from Prince Albert and other surrounding communities.
There will be nine food trucks over food throughout the day.
Test rides will also be offered in some of the vehicles on display. The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 2nd.
