“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” is certainly the case on Saskatoon streets and bridges.
The annual ritual of Saskatoon Light and Power putting up seasonal decorations was started Tuesday. However, the decorations will not be turned on until after Remembrance Day, November 11. Before that, the process of putting up the decorations will impact traffic on three specific days (see below). They will be moving work zones and will impact traffic in both directions with drivers reminded to slow down in work zones and be respectful of workers.
Seasonal decorating work will impact traffic in the following areas…
2nd Avenue on Sunday, November 6 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Broadway Bridge on Tuesday, November 8th from 9 a.m. to Noon and from 1 to 3 p.m.
The University Bridge on Wednesday, November 9th from 9 a.m. to Noon and from 1 to 3 p.m.
