
The Saskatchewan Party announced that Premier Scott Moe will be seeking re-election and they announced a date for the next provincial election.
The announcement was made via the Saskatchewan Party’s social media and said that Moe would seek re-election for a fourth term as the MLA for Rosthern-Shellbrook and as Premier in the upcoming provincial election, which is scheduled to be held in 18 months on October 28, 2024.
Moe said, “Saskatchewan’s economy is strong, there are thousands of new jobs being created in every sector, and our population is growing at its fastest pace in more than a century.”
Moe also declared that they are going to nominate a strong team of 61 candidates ready to serve the people of Saskatchewan which will present a clear choice to voters in the 2024 election.
Despite announcing the upcoming provincial election date, the Government has yet to announce the by-election dates for the vacant seats in Regina Walsh Acres, Lumsden-Morse, and Regina Coronation Park.
