They will be getting ready to ”rumble” on Wednesday at Sask Polytechnic in Saskatoon.
Students from 41 high schools are participating in the Robot Rumble, including nine for the first time. One hundred and sixty-student young people are entered in teams of two.
Chris Roslinsky is the program head for electronic systems and engineering technology at Sask Polytechnic.
There is a stock competition and a modified competition.
Each robot must be able to fit into a 10 centimetre cube and weigh less than 500 grams, or about one pound.
