Grow Hope Saskatchewan is into year number six . . . as urban and rural communities join forces to support people in developing countries.

It is a joint effort between organizations representing the Catholic, Mennonite, Presbyterian and Anglican faiths. Farmers donate the land and labour and the input costs are covering by public donations. $350 is collected for each acre.

2022 was a record-breaking year for Grow Hope Saskatchewan—raising $299,000. Since the program started in 2017, it has generated just under three-quarters of a million dollars for the Canadian Food Grains Bank. That grows to $3.75 million when you include leverage matching grants from Global Affairs Canada.
