Two teams are moving forward to the Request for Proposal Stage for the St. Paul’s Hospital front entrance project. Graham Construction and PCL construction will be putting in their proposals with a June 1st deadline.
Health Minister Paul Merriman says the project includes an over 8,000 square foot expansion and will be fully accessible. It will also feature a First Nations and Metis Cultural Centre and the gift shop will be relocated there. The project also includes about 6,600 square feet of interior renovations for Information and Security, Patient Registration and additional washrooms.
President and CEO of Emmanuel Health, Corey Miller, says, “The overall goal for this renovation is to improve patient flow and provide culturally appropriate space for the patients, families, and staff which Emmanuel Health and St. Paul’s Hospital serve.”
