There are 30 wildfires burning in Saskatchewan with six not contained. The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency says there have been 212 fires so far this year and the five year average is 144.
The top two-thirds of Saskatchewan, other than the far northern edge is under an air quality alert, which continues south through to and including Prince Albert, Saskatoon and further south in the west to south of Eston, then angling north and east through Rosetown, Naicam and to the Manitoba border.
