Saskatchewan has second highest undergraduate tuition in Canada.
Statistics Canada generated the numbers which shows Saskatchewan’s average undergraduate tuition is $9,232 per year.
The provincial NDP says tuition has increased 22.9 per cent between the 2018-19 and 2022-23 academic years—or about the same period Scott Moe has been Premier.
“Under Scott Moe, students in Saskatchewan are literally paying more and getting less,” said Jennifer Bowes, the Opposition Critic for Advanced Education. “This is a government that is hiking tuition while forcing institutions to make cuts to their staffing and programming.”
