Premier Scott Moe is leading the provincial delegation to the two week climate conference in Dubai.
The Saskatchewan pavilion will host 51 events with nearly 60 provincial companies in attendance.
“COP28 provides an excellent opportunity to meet with other industry and government leaders on sustainability . . . and showcase how Saskatchewan has the food, fuel fertilizer, and critical minerals that our growing world needs,” said Premier Moe in a government news release.
COP28 will have two main themes. The first week will focus on energy sustainability, while week two will concentrate on sustainable agriculture and food systems.
