A woman and her dog were rescued after a vehicle went through the ice on a remote location on Lac La Ronge last Friday afternoon.
La Ronge RCMP were contacted by the driver who was sitting on the roof of the half-submerged vehicle with her dog.
A drone was used to locate the vehicle and the rescue was made with the assistance of the 4th Canadian Rangers Patrol Group. The woman and her dog were wet and cold, but not seriously injured. The woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.
