On Wednesday night shortly before 9 p.m. Lloydminster RCMP conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 16 in Lloydminster and after pulling over a car for a traffic infraction they determined the driver was wanted on a traffic-related warrant. As well, both occupants of the vehicle were on conditions not to communicate with each other or possess firearms.
A search of the vehicle revealed a home-made firearm and a set of Nunchucks.
Forty-two-year-old Roger Lameman and 52-year-old Geraldine Dillon, both residents of Onion Lake are facing numerous weapons related charges.
