Awards were handed out to deserving businesses and entrepreneurs Thursday night at the North Saskatoon Business Association’s Business Builder Awards.
Among the 13 awards handed out, the Business Builder Award was given to The Prairie Grazer, which creates unique charcuterie experiences. The Community Builder Award goes to Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation and the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Dr. Karim, otherwise known as Kay, Nasser, of Victory Majors Investments Corporation. Just one of his accomplishments is the development of an over $300-million complex at River Landing, which had stalled until Nasser took over. Downtown YXE says on its website that Nasser preserves heritage elements in his investments, and he has invested in important vacant lands and gifted property.
