
If you plan to camp at one of Saskatchewan’s provincial parks, it’s time to plan when and where because online reservations open at 7 Monday morning for all seasonal campsites.
Then, April 2nd to 9th, you can reserve for nightly, camp-easy, group campsites and swimming lessons, with different locations becoming available each day throughout the week.
A news release from the province says there are no fee increases this year for park entry, swimming or camping.
Campers are encouraged to set up or log in to their online account in advance, to start planning their trips.
New features on the reservation site group camping searches are easier and you can now book a site at Porcupine Hills Provincial Park.
There are 28 new seasonal sites across Buffalo Pound, Candle Lake, Echo Valley, Greenwater Lake and Meadow Lake Provincial Parks due to the seasonal camping program’s popularity.
The complete reservation schedule for 2024 is as follows:
April 1: All parks participating in the seasonal camping program.
Nightly, Camp-Easy, group campsites and swimming lessons:
-April 2: Candle Lake, Good Spirit Lake, Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan Landing.
-April 4: Douglas, Echo Valley, Makwa Lake, Narrow Hills, Pike Lake.
-April 5: Danielson, Great Blue Heron, Greenwater Lake, Rowan’s Ravine, The Battlefords.
-April 8: Buffalo Pound, Bronson Forest, Duck Mountain, Moose Mountain, Porcupine Hills.
-April 9: Blackstrap, Crooked Lake, Cypress Hills, Lac La Ronge.
