The City of Saskatoon will once again commence construction this season on Neault Road.
The City has been working to transform it into a four-lane road over the next four to six years so starting Thursday at 9:00 Neault Road will be closed between 22nd and 33rd streets as construction resumes on the two new southbound lanes. Detours will be in place and this phase of the project is expected to take two months to complete.
Two other major construction projects in the city include the second phase of the College Drive water main maintenance project. Two-way traffic on College Drive has been maintained, but there are lane reductions on both sides between Clarence and Cumberland Avenues. This phase is expected to take approximately 11 weeks to complete. There will be a zipper merge in place.
Another project which started this past Monday is the Warman Road southbound ramp to Circle Drive westbound which is closed for a sewer main installation. That should take two weeks to complete. Drivers will be unable to access Circle Drive westbound from Warman Road north and will need to use alternate routes, like Millar Avenue.
