Twenty-three vulnerable Saskatoon citizens facing homelessness will soon benefit from newly renovated, affordable and supportive housing units on Avenue W North.
The $1.6 million renovation project, funded by the province, will transform the Southwinds apartment building and provide tenants with supports and services from Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Services and Prairie Harm Reduction.
The project began extensive renovations in October 2023 and is expected to be operational by July 2024.
