A 42-year-old Saskatoon man has been arrested after he was found hiding in the backyard shed of the woman he allegedly assaulted.
At 9:10 am yesterday, police were called to the 1800 block of Avenue B North for the report of an assault in progress.
Officers were told a man was assaulting a woman in a backyard.
Upon arrival, police say they saw the man attempt to flee the scene and run into the back alley, however he was found by the K9 unit hiding in a shed.
Again, he attempted to run away, but was stopped and arrested. He is facing five charges and was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
