On July 29th, two men, Ryan Langford of Yorkton and Parteek Sandhu of Etobicoke, Ontario were arrested as part of a drug trafficking and kidnapping investigation and since then, the Saskatchewan RCMP reports that more charges have been laid against Langford.
Yorkton’s Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team executed a search warrant at a business in that city and arrested 23-year-old Sandhu at the scene on the 29th and then officers went to search a farm south of Yorkton in the RM of Wallace. A drone was used to locate 46-year-old Ryan Langford who was arrested without incident, and then as police were searching the property, they found a severely injured, forcibly confined man inside a barn who had been kidnapped.
Back in July, the two men were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and adult kidnapping among other charges. Langford’s new charges include storage of explosives other than a licensed magazine, three counts of careless use of a firearm, and three counts of unauthorized use of a firearm.
