Variable yields are being reported in Saskatchewan with the best numbers at locations received timely July rain.
Volunteer crop reporters were asked to estimate the yields of crops harvested prior to September 2nd.
The Saskatchewan harvest is 42 per cent complete as of Monday, up from 25 per cent the previous week.
Rainfall was limited last week with the exception of the west-central region near the Alberta border. Marsden had 60 millimettres, Neilburg 57 millimetres while Macklin and Unity received 50 millimetres of rain.
