A 24-year-old Saskatoon man has been arrested after being the prime suspect in two stabbings earlier this month.
On September 18, police were called to the 100 block of Avenue T South for a report that someone had been stabbed. The suspect fled the scene before police arrival. And on September 23, police were called to the 100 block of Avenue U South for a report of a woman who had been stabbed.
Yesterday, police saw the suspect in the 1600 block of 22nd Street West. At 2:45 p.m., officers were able to get the suspect to surrender without further incident.
Dakota Douglas Halkett is facing numerous charges including Aggravated Assault and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
