We’ve made an abrupt plunge into fall after a scorching hot Sunday in Saskatchewan. Environment Canada says eight locations in the province set new record highs and two tied record highs from previous years. New records were set for Assiniboia, Coronach, Estevan, Hudson Bay, Melfort, Regina, Rockglen and Weyburn while Indian Head and Moose Jaw tied their records. The hotspot in Saskatchewan and Canada Sunday was Coronach at 34.5 degrees which beat the record of 31.1 degrees set in 2022. The forecast is predicting freezing overnight by mid-week.
