The Regina Police Service is investigating the report of two shots fired at a Regina Sask Party candidates campaign headquarters window, and says the damage at the building in the 1600 block of Dewdney Avenue is not the result of a firearm discharge. Rahul Singh is running in the Regina Northeast constituency. The matter remains under investigation and Regina Police urge anyone with information to contact them or submit an anonymous tip through Regina Crime Stoppers.
Earlier today (Tues), Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe stated that it is unacceptable for any campaign for any party to be targeted this way, and added that Singh is troubled, but will not be intimidated. NDP Leader, Carla Beck’s statement echoes Moe’s. She says no politician should ever be subjected to violence, and added that her heart goes out to Mr. Singh, the volunteers and the campaign staff.

The Saskatchewan Party issued a news release Tuesday stating that the campaign office for one of their candidates appears to have been shot at.
Candidate Rahul Singh has contacted the Regina Police Service after two bullet holes were discovered in the window of his Regina Northeast campaign office.
Singh says their campaign has had many of the signs stolen but this situation puts campaign volunteers in danger.
Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe said this is completely unacceptable and that Rahul Singh is troubled by the developments, but Moe says, “He has knocked thousands of doors and spoken with thousands of voters in Regina Northeast and that’s exactly what he plans to continue doing from now until Election Day.”
NDP leader Carla Beck issued a statement saying no politician should ever be subjected to violence and that whoever committed this act is brought to justice.
