RCMP are advising parents to check their child’s candy for THC gummies, as they have been found in bags resembling chips, chocolate bars and a variety of other popular name-brand candies.
Recently, British Columbia RCMP conducted search warrants at several cannabis dispensaries and seized thousands of counterfeit cannabis treats, some with dangerous levels of THC.
Some signs that your child has ingested cannabis include vomiting, agitation, confusion, slurred speech, unsteadiness, slowed breathing and muscle weakness.
If you think that your child has eaten cannabis gummies, seek medical attention immediately.
